What you learn
The group’s equipment is installed in villages without electricity, in heat and dust. You learn to make it work under those conditions and to repair it on site. Technicians work with the parent company’s engineers in Japan and with Japanese research institutes. The X-ICS management site in Dakar was set up by the company’s Senegalese technicians.
What we expect
French is the working language. English is useful for projects with international organisations and in The Gambia. A driving licence is required for field positions. For technicians, training in electricity, electronics, refrigeration or IT is required, depending on the position.
